Survival Purpose

We first saw the Garmin GPS unit in action during a 4-wheeler trip. We were exploring new territory in a forested region and got pretty turned around. We had maps and compasses but until we checked in on the digital GPS we were pretty lost. The Garmin showed us exactly where we were, where we had been, and it was easy to find where we needed to go.
